Frontier Airlines’ employment count increased 13.9 percent in February compared with a year earlier, according to U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics. Frontier had 5,255 full-time equivalent employees in February, up from 4,614 in February 2007. Its new turboprop subsidiary had 301 full- time- equivalent employees in February, according to the data. United Airlines’ count grew 1 percent to 52,443 in February, up from 51,908.
