Strong winds today will help push high temperatures along the Front Range into the upper 70s but a cold front out of the Pacific northwest is on its way and tomorrow’s weather in Denver should be cooler and wet.

Skies should be sunny today over Denver and winds will gust to about 35 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

Clouds should start creeping over the Denver area tonight and increasing tomorrow, bringing a chance for snow and rain showers until noon Wednesday before turning into scattered rain, the weather service reports.

Tomorrow’s high temperature in Denver should be about 48 degrees and little, if any, snow accumulation is expected in the city.

Clouds and a slight chance – 10 percent – of snow should linger in Denver Thursday morning but skies are expected to be clear and sunny on Friday as the high temperature in the city rebounds to about 67 degrees, the weather service said.
