Early in the game, the Avs’ Cody McLeod intercepted a pass inside the Wild’s blue line and went in on a breakaway, shooting into the goalie’s pads.
European rivals.
Just after the Avs went ahead 2-0 early, Sweden native Peter Forsberg and Mikko Koivu of Finland both found themselves in the penalty box after exchanging words and punches.
