The Boulder-based Slipstream/Chipotle cycling team, Boulder resident Tyler Hamilton and Glenwood Springs’ Bobby Julich will be in the field in the 15-team Tour de Georgia starting Monday in Atlanta.

The field was set Wednesday when Rock Racing was added after a lawsuit filed by the team against the race organizer was settled out of court. Hamilton, a 2004 Olympic gold medalist who served a two-year suspension for doping, will help lead the team.

Julich, a 2004 bronze medalist, will race with Team CSC. The field also includes three-time USA Cycling road champion George Hincapie of Team High Road and Tom Danielson, Christian Vande Velde and David Zabriskie of Slipstream/Chipotle.

Brahmas rough up Eagles.

The Colorado Eagles will not sweep their Central Hockey League Northern Conference finals series. They lost Game 3 by a 5-2 count to the Texas Brahmas in North Richland Hills, Texas.

Eagles goalie Sebastien Laplante gave up four goals on 10 shots in 21 minutes and was replaced by Bryan Bridges, who saw his first CHL playoff action and stopped 21-of-22 shots. Kris Wiebe and Fraser Filipic scored for Colorado.
