JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo.—A bicyclist was killed after he was struck by a postal truck.
The Colorado State Patrol is investigating whether the woman driving the postal truck had a medical condition or if her vehicle malfunctioned when the accident happened near Golden Saturday afternoon.
State Patrol officials say the man was in his 50s and he was from Lakewood but his name has not been released. He was wearing a helmet.
Officials say the woman driving the postal truck swerved after hitting the bicyclist and her vehicle rolled about 40 feet. She has been hospitalized but her condition has not been released.
