Getting your player ready...

Hannan hurt.

Scott Hannan took a stick to the face in the second period, but the Avs defenseman missed only about five minutes of action and was on the ice when the Avs went ahead 2-1. Hannan was struck by the tip of Aaron Voros’ stick, on a follow-through from the Minnesota left winger’s shot.

Burned by Burns.

Wild defenseman Brett Burns disrupted a glorious chance for the Avs to go ahead 3-1 early in the third period by sliding into the right goalpost and dislodging the net. This time, desperation paid off.
