Southwest Airlines announced Tuesday it will start flying from Denver to Portland, Ore., and Indian apolis.
The new flights will start June 4. Southwest will fly two daily round trips on each route.
Southwest also is adding another daily flight to its Denver-Las Vegas route starting June 4. On Aug. 23, Southwest will add another daily flight to its Denver- San Antonio route.
“Denver has been and will remain a focus city for us,” Southwest chief executive Gary Kelly said in a written statement.
Southwest operates 61 daily nonstop flights from Denver and has about 150 local employees.
