Blood on the Wall returns for a victory lap with songs from its raw, deeply satisfying new album, “Liferz.” Catch the Brooklyn indie trio tonight at the Hi-Dive with locals Monofog. $10.

The Raconteurs’ “Consolers of the Lonely” has barely had time to sink in, the band unceremoniously announcing its existence a week before its release. Still, Jack White and Brendan Benson’s catchall rock excursion was never about warning shots. More like swift kicks to the head. Monday at the Fillmore Auditorium, with Birds of Avalon. $34.

GZA prides himself on his intelligent flows, an attribute that has served him well in main gig the Wu-Tang Clan. And while the Genius (a.k.a. Gary Grice) hasn’t released much new material lately, his rhymes always slay in concert. Wednesday at the Fox Theatre with Proximity and Intalek. $20.

Dark Meat will have a fun time wedging its 17 (or so) members onto the modest Hi-Dive stage on Thursday. The sprawling Athens, Ga., band creates ragged epics that fall somewhere between Southern rock and a 50-clown-car pileup — with a twist of free jazz. With Mark Mallman and Dario Rosa. $8.
