Greg Reynolds allowed only two earned runs in eight innings Sunday, pitching the Triple-A Sky Sox (10-12) to an 11-2 victory over Sacramento (12-11) in a Pacific Coast League game in Colorado Springs.
Reynolds struck out five in his first victory of the season. Jonathan Herrera, Sean Barker and Humberto Cota each had two RBIs for the Sky Sox.
CU men 10th in Big 12 golf.
The University of Colorado men’s golf team shot a final-round 298 to finish 10th in the Big 12 Conference Championships at Whispering Pines Golf Club in Trinity, Texas.
The Buffaloes finished 67 strokes behind champion Oklahoma State. It was the first four-round tournament for the Buffaloes since playing in the 2002 NCAA Championships.
Sophomore Luke Symons led CU by shooting a 300 over four rounds, finishing 28th overall.
CU women 11th in Big 12 golf.
The University of Colorado women’s golf team finished 11th with a three-round total of 1,002 in the Big 12 Conference Championships at the Karsten Creek Golf Course in Stillwater, Okla. Oklahoma State won the tournament with a final score of 912.
The Buffaloes were led by senior Lindsay Senger, who finished in a tie for 27th at 246.
