Colorado Securities Commissioner Fred J. Joseph announced Monday he has entered into a cease-and-desist order against a Colorado company and its owner for allegedly violating the securities registration and anti-fraud provisions of the Colorado Securities Act.

According to the order, DH Products LLC and its owner and manager, Carl “Dusty” Hill, both of Longmont, failed to register DH’s security offering for a flat-tire-alert system for the trucking industry. In addition, the commissioner’s office alleged that Hill offered the investments in a fraudulent manner by failing to disclose the risks inherent in investing in his system.
