Without improvement, the right-hander could be shoved to the bullpen to work out his mechanical issues. Jimenez has been doomed by big innings and high pitch counts. He has never pitched at AT&T Park. Jonathan Sanchez (2-1, 3.54) is a promising young left-hander who relies on command. Sanchez has held opponents to a .194 average at home.
