A Qwest connectivity outage between The Denver Post’s downtown offices and its Washington Street printing plant caused delays in production and delivery of Tuesday’s newspaper, according to newspaper officials.

Qwest provides Internet and digital phone services to the Denver Newspaper Agency building, which houses The Post and Rocky Mountain News.

Some readers received an early edition of the newspaper instead of the final edition, which included full coverage of the Denver Nuggets’ season-ending playoff loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The outage began at 6:47 p.m. and ended at 10:10 p.m. Kimberly S. Johnson, The Denver Post
