The life of Lincoln opened up to the public in Denver at no charge Wednesday, the first stop in a nationwide tour to showcase Honest Abe on his 200th birthday next year.
An expandable 53-foot-long semi is parked at the Colorado History Museum, at Broadway and 13th Avenue in Denver, through Sunday to present the exhibit “Abraham Lincoln: Self-Made in America.”
The exhibit was put together by the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield, Ill.
Over the next two years, the Lincoln road show will visit schools, sporting events, political conventions and other stops across the country.
