FAIRPLAY — Antero Reservoir near Fairplay is temporarily closed to boats while Denver Water comes up with a plan to check for zebra mussels.
The water department plans to meet Monday with state wildlife officials to devise an inspection plan for the mussels, which drive out native species and block industrial pipes and boats’ motors.
