BRECKENRIDGE — A vacation home in Breckenridge valued at $1.32 million suffered significant fire damage Tuesday afternoon. The home was vacant.
The cause of the fire is unknown, said Capt. Kim Scott of Red, White and Blue Fire and Rescue in Breckenridge.
“We did find a broken gas line on the scene, but whether that happened before the fire or during, we just can’t confirm at this time,” Scott said. “It does not appear to be criminal or intentional at this point, but we won’t know for sure until after the investigation.” Jenel Stelton-Holtmeier, The Denver Post
