GRANBY — A mobile home just north of Granby exploded Wednesday evening, igniting a fire that quickly spread to three nearby mobile homes.
The Grand County Sheriff’s Department said the blaze destroyed the four mobile homes.
The fire, which broke out about 8 p.m., prompted the closure of U.S. 34 in the Lake Granby area for about three hours.
Firefighters from three Grand County fire departments responded. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation was investigating late Wednesday to determine whether there were any fatalities.
