A mobile home just north of Granby exploded this evening igniting a fire that spread to three nearby mobile homes.
The Grand County Sheriff’s Department said the blaze destroyed a total of four mobile homes. The fire, which broke out about 8 p.m., prompted the closure of Highway 34 in the Lake Granby area for about three hours.
Firefighters from three Grand County fire departments responded. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation was investigating tonight to determine if there were any fatalities.
