Thomas Arvid’s oversized still- life compositions of wine and the rituals surrounding its consumption have been called a “major art trend” by industry insiders. Fans of the artist applaud his intricate details and mastery of light, depth and reflection. Arvid is a featured artist at Fascination St. Gallery at 315 Detroit St. in Denver. From 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Arvid will appear at the gallery in person to sign his work. Fifteen percent of all sales that evening will benefit the Steck Elementary School PTSA.
