The Denver Art Museum is expanding visiting hours during the final 10 days of “Inspiring Impressionism,” because of the exhibition’s high visitorship.
The show, which runs through May 25, will remain open until 9 p.m. on Thursdays and Saturdays beginning May 15 and continuing through May 24. As usual, timed and dated tickets are required, and advance purchase is recommended.
The exhibition, organized in Denver, is the first to take a wide-ranging look at the direct and indirect influence of old-master painters on the impressionists. It contains 100 paintings and drawings from 70 public and private collections worldwide.
