Rilo Kileysinger Jenny Lewis recently lent her backing vocals to Elvis Costello’s “Momofuku,” but most of us met her via her own shimmering indie country and folk-pop. Rilo Kiley plays the Black Sheep in Colorado Springs on Saturday and the Ogden Theatre on Sunday. With the Spinto Band and Nik Freitas. $20-$23.

Brian Regan’s two sold-out shows at the Paramount Theatre on Saturday attest to the clean comic’s mass appeal in Colorado (and elsewhere). Like the classic stand-ups, Regan can kill even without the blue material that has become many performers’ stock and trade.

Rachael Pollard tells harrowing acoustic tales in the dark, new-folk vein of Porlolo and Cat Power. She’ll release her stark, beautiful new CD, “A Good Thing,” Wednesday at the Meadowlark with Joshua Novak and others. $5.

The Cure’s reputation as difficult, arty and downright depressing was never really warranted, as glances at its catalog reveal a strong pop through-line under the makeup and morbid romanticism. The U.K. band plays a long-awaited concert on Wednesday at Red Rocks with 65daysofstatic. $35-$65.
