So what did you accomplish on May 7? Littleton’s Becca Huffer had quite a day. At 7 a.m., she began a European history final examination, finished it in 2 1/2 hours and made her regional-tournament tee time of 10:30 a.m. at Meadow Hills Golf Course in Aurora. The senior fired a 3-over-par 74 to finish second. By 5 p.m., she was back at school to complete a calculus exam. Huffer is in the prestigious International Baccalaureate program and has a 4.4 grade-point average. She has signed with Notre Dame and finished seasons third, first and fifth, respectively, with her final state tournament Monday and Tuesday . . . after she finishes classes. “I was pretty tired,” she said. “I’m just glad it all worked out.” Neil H.
