A suspected bank robber used a series of taxi cabs to make his getaway today, according to police and FBI involved in the arrest.
At about 7 p.m., police arrested Mark David Miserandino, 43, at Mon Chalet Motel on Colfax Avenue in Aurora.
Police say Miserandino robbed the First Bank branch at 1200 17th St. in Denver at 4:40 p.m. and made off with an undisclosed amount of the cash.
Police in Denver and Aurora searched cabs and interviewed cabbies, eventually leading to the hotel.
