Motorcycle daredevil Robbie Knievel will be jumping over a different kind of vehicle at Texas Motor Speedway this time. Seven years after successfully jumping over the starting grid of 20 IndyCar Series cars, Knievel returns to the track June 7 when he will attempt to jump 20 Hummer vehicles. It will be Knievel’s second planned jump since the death of his father, Evel Knievel, in November. “To me, the jump is all about the show for the audience,” Robbie Knievel said. “Nobody puts on a show anymore. As an entertainer and growing up with my dad and being the son of Evel Knievel, it’s a great thing to get to do this for a living.” The Associated Press
