• Because of a reporting error, the last quote in a story on Page 2B Tuesday was incorrectly transcribed. A recording of the news conference by Re-create 68 spokesman and co-founder Glenn Spagnuolo could not be located Tuesday, but what he believes he said was: “The city is creating a confrontational atmosphere that we do not want and I am sure the police do not want to have to deal with. We want this to be a peaceful, nonviolent event.”
The same story also inaccurately reported that the Democratic Party had been awarded a permit to use Civic Center park during convention week. The permit was awarded to Denver’s Convention Host Committee, a separate entity.
