Gov. Bill Ritter signed four business bills into law Tuesday in a ceremony in Littleton.
The changes include a higher exemption for the business personal-property tax, elimination of taxes on airplanes purchased in Colorado by out-of- state buyers, a simpler tax structure for multi-state corporations operating in Colorado and changes that will make it easier for rural businesses to obtain tax credits for creating jobs. The new laws resulted from an economic-development package the governor unveiled in September.
