A man accused of sexually assaulting a woman on Santa Fe Drive in December is in jail because of DNA that matched him to the crime, authorities said Thursday.
Cung Van Do, 29, was arrested recently in Avon. He is in the Denver jail in lieu of $1 million bail and will be formally charged in Denver County Court on Tuesday.
Police say Do kidnapped the 33- year-old woman at knifepoint on Dec. 7, then sexually assaulted her.
