A Missouri woman died and three children and another adult were injured when a car ran off Interstate 70, slammed into a post and traveled back across the road before rolling twice in Arapahoe County on Saturday.
Aaron Reed, 25, a passenger in the black 2004 Chrysler, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Arapahoe County coroner, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
Three children, ages 1, 3 and 4, were transported to Children’s Hospital with minor injuries. All of the children share Reed’s last name.
The driver, Mallory Spry, 18, of Webb City, Mo., sustained minor injuries and was taken to Swedish Medical center in Englewood.
The crash is under investigation.
Alcohol or drugs are not suspected as contributing factors.
