3 Doors Down is a long way from its first radio hit, “Kryptonite,” but the straight-faced pop-rock act’s new self-titled album finds it in the same unchallenging spot it’s always been. Madonna tickets finally go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, and considering that the Nov. 11 Pepsi Center show is the Material Girl’s first-ever Denver stop, expect them to sell out almost instantly, despite a hefty price. ($59-$354, Ticketmaster)

Rose Hill Drive announced a slate of co-headlining dates with Athens, Ga., indie rock buzz band the Whigs next month. The tour will culminate with a June 24 show at the Fox Theatre (sans the Whigs), where the Boulder power trio will release its latest CD, “Moon in the New Earth.” Tickets are on sale. Fleet Foxes escaped a lot of hipsters’ gaze when they last played the Hi-Dive in April, but a new full-length disc on Sub Pop (out June 3) ought to make the Seattle folk-rock band’s return show more of an event.
