LAKEWOOD — Lakewood police arrested 37-year-old Rodricke Mikel Martin Shari on Wednesday in the death of his wife, Kathryn T. Young.
Young’s body was discovered in an apartment in the 600 block of South Reed Street on May 9.
Police found the body after neighbors called about an odor coming from the apartment.
A warrant obtained by Lakewood police says Shari faces possible charges of first-degree murder, first- degree burglary and aggravated robbery. Shari, who was already in police custody for an unrelated charge in Denver, was transferred to Lakewood detectives Wednesday to be booked into the Jefferson County jail.
Shari most likely will make an appearance in court either today or Friday, police said.
