Vicorp Restaurants Inc., parent of Village Inn and Bakers Square, said Wednesday that Hazem Ouf has been named its new president and chief executive.
Ouf replaces Ken Keymer, president and CEO since April 2007, who is retiring. Ouf will oversee efforts to bring the company out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Ouf has helped several companies out of bankruptcy in his career, including Constellation Concepts and Souper Salad.
Ouf most recently served as president and chief executive of SSI Inc., owner and operator of Souper Salad and Grandy’s restaurants. His resume also includes leadership positions at Lyons Restaurants, Stuart Anderson’s Black Angus and Spectrum Foods Inc. Elizabeth Aguilera, The Denver Post
