A bank robber in Arvada had second thoughts and waited at the door for the cops to show up and cuff him, police said this evening.

Still holding the bag of stolen money, George Ray Kentner, 40, was arrested outside the TCF Bank in the 5500 block of Colorado Highway 121 at about 11:20 a.m.

Kentner surrendered without incident, saying he wanted to be arrested, according to a statement from the Arvada Police Department.

He was hold two grand of the bank’s money, after passing a not to a teller. He had no weapon, and though the teller told police she was afraid for her life, no one was injured.
