Police are cautioning residents in southeast Denver to be watchful as they leave their vehicles after dark. Armed robbers have abducted four victims and forced them to withdraw cash from ATMs in the past 10 weeks.
In most of the cases, two young men were involved, and in one stickup there were three. All three had thin or medium builds, and each stood less than 6 feet tall.
Three of the robberies happened between the 8100 and 8500 blocks of East Fairmount Drive, and the other in the 9100 block of East Mississippi Avenue.
In each case, the victims were released unharmed. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7876.
