Sunny skies and warm, dry weather in Denver will settle in for the weekend.

Today in Denver, the high temperature should hit about 83 degrees and winds will be calm at about 8 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday should be another calm day in Denver as the high temperature climbs to about 90 degrees and Sunday should be mostly sunny with a high of about 86, the Weather Service said.

Overnight low temperatures through the weekend in Denver should be in the 50s.

A series of cold fronts should start hitting the state on Monday, cooling things off a bit and bringing a chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, the Weather Service reports.

Partly cloudy skies over Denver on Monday will bring a 20 percent chance of precipitation, and the high temperature should top out at about 77 degrees, the Weather Service said.
