Getting your player ready...

We’ve already passed the halfway point for Colorado’s Bike to Work Month (that’d be June), but there’s still plenty of opportunities to get your pedal on. Here are a few suggestions on how to take part:

“How to go carless” seminar. REI Boulder (1789 28th St.), 7 p.m. on Friday. Tips on clothing, equipment and planning cycling routes, 303-583-9970.

Seniors on bikes ride. Boulder to Jamestown, Friday. “Pacers” (below 15 mph) meet at Sol Azteca (28th and Diagonal) at 8:30 a.m.; “Tigers” (15 mph or above) meet at the Pearl park-n-Ride at 8 a.m., 303-564-9681.

Vintage bike swap. Boulder Farmer’s Market, Saturday. Buy, sell or trade for someone else’s old gear.

Bike to Work Day, June 25. Leave your car at home on the fourth Wednesday of every June.
