GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo.—Emergency crews have pulled a man from the Colorado River along Interstate 70 at South Canyon in Garfield County.
Authorities responded to a report just after 3:20 p.m. Monday that a man was seen floating in the river.
Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Tanny McGinnis says crews from the department’s Search and Rescue unit and the Burning Mountains Fire Protection District spotted the man and pulled him from the water.
He was taken to Valley View Hospital, but his name and condition have not been released.
