Police are investigating the possibility of a burglar preying on older women home alone.
Monday, a man forced his way into the home of a 62-year-old women in the 700 block of South Harrison Street. He took things and exited in her Nissan Murano.
On May 28, a 57-year-old woman said a man forced his way into her home in the 1000 block of Locust Street about 12:30 p.m. He stole things and left.
The man in both cases is described as black, in his mid- to late 20s, six feet tall and 200 pounds. On Monday, the burglar was wearing a dark baseball cap, white T-shirt and sneakers.
