Police have identified the 18-year-old man killed Sunday in Colorado Springs as Demetrius Binion.
Binion died from a single bullet to the chest.
Investigators say the shooter came to the apartment where Binion’s body was found at 210 N. Murray Blvd. at about 1 a.m. Sunday. Binion, who occasionally stayed at the apartment, was there with several other people.
“The suspect entered the apartment and engaged in a brief argument with the victim. The suspect then fired a single shot that struck the victim. The investigation is continuing to look into any prior relationships between the victim and suspect,” according to a police news release.
