DACONO, Colo.—Interstate 25 north of Denver is back open.
A portion of the highway was closed in both directions for about an hour at Colorado 52 near Dacono because of smoke from a wildfire.
The fire started after a microburst snapped three power lines. Toby Kridel of the Frederick-Firestone Fire Protection said the fire burned an area 40 feet wide but is now out.
