Hoping to promote Denver to the delegates and VIPs visiting during the Democratic National Convention, Denver native and U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette has made short Internet videos that launch today, her office says.
“Everybody keeps coming up to me to ask me what are the nice places to visit,” DeGette said, so she had the idea to feature several, such as Red Rocks or the Denver Art Museum, other hot spots and Denver eateries.
Four of the videos are to launch today on the Democratic National Convention Committee’s website, , DeGette said. The remaining eight will be unveiled a week at a time leading up to the convention Aug. 25-28.
