Moonspeed is the new-ish super-project from Jeff Suthers, of sadly defunct Denver band Bright Channel, and its 11 players include members of Monofog and the Joshua Novak Band. Check out Moonspeed’s debut at the Hi-Dive Saturday with the Wheel, Ross Etherton and DJ Eddie Dugan. $6.

Stevie Wonder’s 13-year absence from Denver will help make his Tuesday Fiddler’s Green show feel like one big party — albeit a funky, keyboard-driven party with a few thousand of your closest friends. $30-$125.

Stone Temple Pilots’ reunion tour probably seemed like a good idea after singer Scott Weiland got booted from previous gig Velvet Revolver. We’ll see how well the band’s shiny, grunge- derived frat-rock has aged at its Red Rocks show on Wednesday, with the Pixies’ Black Francis. $44.50-$64.50.

T.I.’s occasional hip-hop scraps and boasting have threatened to overshadow his music, but the Atlanta-bred rapper-actor at least avoids the self-aggrandizing parody of Kanye West. He plays the Fillmore Auditorium on Thursday. $45.
