JACKSON, WYO. — Tom Brokaw will host Wyoming Gov. Dave Freudenthal and Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter on “Meet the Press” on Sunday.
Part of the show will be taped Saturday at Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis resort.
The topic of the program will be “The West: Battleground 2008,” and Freudenthal and Ritter will be discussing issues at play in the November election. Freudenthal and Ritter are both Democrats. California’s Republican governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, also will be on the show, although his portion will be taped elsewhere.
The governors will be in Jackson Hole for the Western Governors Association annual meeting, which kicks off Sunday.
Brokaw will be speaking at the conference. He has agreed to host “Meet the Press” following the death of Tim Russert.
