GREELEY, Colo.—Xcel Energy’s solar rebates are a lot more than a drop in the bucket.
Mark Stutz of the energy company says it has paid more than $31 million in rebates to a total of 1,525 consumers and companies that bought solar energy gadgets.
He said 2,300 applications for rebates have been received so far.
The company pays $2 per watt per solar panel up to 10,000 watts.
