DENVER—The Colorado Department of Revenue has named a new state lottery director.
Jack A. Boehm, who joined the Colorado Lottery last year as chief operating officer, replaces retired lottery director Peggy Gordon.
Boehm has been the acting director since Gordon announced in April that she’d step down June 30th.
Boehm is a former deputy director of the Minnesota State Lottery, where he was the chief architect of a fully automated instant ticket system that was created to start the Minnesota Lottery. He was also a vice president of technologies for American Express Corporation and has done consulting work for private gaming businesses.
He will be based at the Lottery’s Pueblo headquarters.
A search for a new chief operating officer will begin immediately.
