FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Authorities say a Larimer County sheriff’s deputy suffered two cuts on his head when he was hit by a suspect.
The sheriff’s department says the deputy was struck Tuesday night with a nylon strap that had a metal clasp at the end.
Other deputies subdued the suspect with stun guns. One of those deputies suffered minor injuries.
The suspect has been identified as 46-year-old Robert Tracy Morris of Fort Collins. He’s been arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault and resisting arrest.
The deputy’s name has not been released.
He was responding to a report of a fight between male and female roommates.
