Burglars possibly driven by drug addictions have stolen thousands of dollars worth of electronics following 18 break-ins at storage centers in Longmont and Frederick, police say.
“We believe the suspects in these thefts are using the stolen property to fund their drug habits,” said Cmdr. Tim Lewis of the Longmont Police Department.
