Arvada police are looking for whoever is responsible for damaging six trees in Homestead Park.
Early Tuesday, someone chopped down or broke branches, causing damage estimated at $2,500.
“It’s difficult enough to grow trees in Colorado, so it’s especially disheartening that someone would intentionally destroy these trees,” Craig Hillegass of the Arvada Parks Department said in a statement.
Anyone with information is asked to call Arvada police at 720-898-6900. There is a $500 reward.
