BOULDER, Colo.—A former cast member of the 1980s television show “Family Ties” is in what Boulder police call an “unknown location,” and a warrant is out for his arrest.

Twenty-six-year-old Brian Bonsall is wanted for skipping a July 16 court date on a charge of violating the terms of his probation after assaulting his girlfriend last year. Bonsall had allegedly missed daily breathalyzer tests, submitted a positive breath test, and failed to pay for domestic violence classes.

Bonsall portrayed Michael J. Fox’s younger brother Andy Keaton on the NBC sitcom from 1986 to 1989.

The property manager at Aspen Grove Condominiums in Boulder, where Bonsall has been living, says he saw the former actor hauling furniture to a Dumpster during the Fourth of July weekend.

Bonsall is a native of Torrance, Calif.
