A teenager who drown in a lake north of Boulder has been identified by authorities as Noah Janssen.
Janssen, 18, of Boulder, was swimming with friends between floating lake docks in the Lake Valley Golf Club subdivision Wednesday evening when the accident occurred, according to the Boulder Sheriff’s Office.
Witnesses told investigators Janssen’s friends called for help when he disappeared between docks, which are about 100 feet apart.
Rescue crews found his body in about 14 feet of water after searching for more than 90 minutes.
