COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs police shot and killed a dog in the bathroom of a home while searching for a man suspected of escape.
Deanna Gonzales says she was showering when she heard the shot fired Friday, inches away from her.
Police Sgt. Tim Hogan says officers were at the home responding to a tip that 28-year-old Francisco Aragon might be there. Gonzales says she doesn’t know him.
