GOLDEN — An associate pastor at Faith Bible Chapel in Arvada was found dead on a mountain in Switzerland on Friday.
Vince Bousselaire, 55, of Golden was climbing the Matterhorn with a companion from Boulder. A family member reported them missing Friday. The name of the Boulder climber was not immediately available.
Bousselaire’s wife, Connie, told 9NEWS her husband was an 11-year cancer survivor who loved running marathons, mountain and trail biking, skiing and kayaking. He also climbed all 54 Fourteeners in Colorado.
He had been a pastor at Faith Bible Chapel for 15 years.
“He will be dearly missed by many but we take comfort in the fact that he loved the Lord, lived life to the fullest with no regrets, and died doing something he loved,” Connie Bousselaire told 9News.
